October 2024 - Raisins SA is pleased to share a positive outlook for the South African raisin crop for the 2025 season. Based on current conditions, we are cautiously optimistic about a harvest ranging between 90,000 to 110,000 tonnes of farmer stock, contingent upon favourable weather patterns.

With healthy vine conditions observed across our growing regions, the potential is there for a promising crop. As we approach the 2024/25 marketing period, we anticipate that approximately 93,000 tonnes will be available for market, positioning us well to meet both domestic and international demand.

The resilience and dedication of our growers, combined with advances in agricultural practices, have contributed significantly to the robust health of our vines. While we remain vigilant about the weather's impact, we believe that our proactive management strategies will support a successful harvest.

"We are excited about the potential for the 2025 raisin crop," said Ferdie Botha, CEO of Raisins SA. "The quality of our grapes and the commitment of our farmers give us confidence as we look forward to a productive season."

Raisins SA will continue to monitor conditions closely and provide updates as the season progresses. We appreciate the ongoing support of our growers, partners, and customers as we work together to bring high-quality South African raisins to the market.
